Sending customised content for each signer with a single document template is now possible with the “templates” feature on platform.

Example: Consider this scenario of a school reopening consent document that needs signing from every parent.

While the content/template of the document remains the same - only the name, address, contact number and email ID would change for each signer.

Digio’s platform allows you to upload this document ONLY ONCE and customize the unique content for each signer ON-PLATFORM eliminating the need to create new documents with pre-filled details.

NOTE: This works for PDF type documents only.

Creating a template on Digio’s platform

Upload the generic document template

Please follow the steps below to upload a generic document template on to the platform.

Step 1: Prepare a generic document (like the Declaration details document attached above) with appropriate spaces for the customizable content.

Step 2: Go to “TemplatesCustom”. List of existing templates (if any, will be listed on the right side)

Step 3: Click on the “Upload template” button above the templates list. You can upload the PDF template.

Step 4: Once the upload is complete, you can notice a new entry in the “custom” templates page, and the template will open automatically in the template editor for further processing.

The template shall be uploaded to the platform. You can then start working on setting up the signature and the custom values that needs to be unique for each signer.
